does the privacy mode of the browser allow me to browse the web without being monitored when I work in the company? Sometimes I want to open Taobao or read some other materials in the company, hoping that privacy will not be discovered

can't. Chrome made it clear when he turned on privacy mode:

Chrome won't save the following information:

  • Your browsing history
  • Cookies and site data
  • Information entered in forms

Your activity might still be visible to:

  • Websites you visit
  • Your employer or school
  • Your internet service provider

when using the private browsing feature, the browser does not save information such as visited websites, viewed web pages, and so on.

there are two ways to start private browsing:

Open a new blank privacy browsing window: click the menu button, and then click the New Privacy browsing window button.

Open the link in the privacy browsing window: right-click the
link and select Open the link in the new privacy browsing window from the context menu.

Note: private browsing mode does not allow you to browse the web anonymously. Your Internet provider, employer, or visited website itself can still trace the pages you visit. In addition, private browsing does not protect you from keyloggers or spyware installed on your computer.

there are two kinds of monitoring. The privacy mode only says that the local system is not tracked, but you also have to send all kinds of request messages, which can be tracked and recorded on any part of the link.
