< meta name= "viewport" content= "width=980" > is not valid in Wechat and safari

the PC page of an old project is not compatible with the mobile side, so the display effect on the mobile side is expected to be a fully scaled-down page, which can be zoomed in. However, a page is normal in the loading process of Wechat and safari, and will be displayed as a < meta name= "viewport" content= "width=device-width" > effect after loading. As a result, the layout in the page is displayed with a width of 100% as the device width, but some of the widths are written to 980, resulting in a disordered layout.

in other browsers, the default is normal. After adding < meta name= "viewport" content= "width=device-width" >, it will show the same effect of Wechat, but it will be normal after changing to < meta name= "viewport" content= "width=980" >. However, no matter how Wechat and safari modify it, they will be confused.
