Does it make sense to add incremental updates to mongodb sharding clusters for query optimization?

if I have a mongodb sharding cluster, I want to add incremental update query optimization (java writing, as middleware) on the shard, can I send the query request from the Mongose side, and wait for the data on the shard after being processed by the java middleware?

the main question is whether requests routed by mongos to shards can be detected by Java.

mongodb this database I have not been in contact with soon, do not know if it is possible to optimize the effect of adding such an optimization process in the middle?
