Win10 repo init error fatal: manifest default.xml not found

win10 environment successfully installs repo. The remote gitlab server builds a manifest.git repository, clones it locally, and then repo init-u address shows fatal: manifest "default.xml" not available and fatal: manifest default.xml not found error prompts that the configured default.xml file already exists remotely. The reason for this fatal: manifest default.xml not found error is not clear
