Why are there two parted processes in centos7 occupying cpu?

I don"t know when there are two parted processes in the server that have each occupied a cpu kernel for several months. Is this normal?
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S CPU MEM TIME+ COMMAND
2875 root 200 157896 364 256 R 100.0 0.0120322 MEM TIME+ COMMAND 15 parted
2404 root 20 0 157896 368 256 R 99.7 0.0 120319 CPU 54 parted
one of the processes is specific Information:
[root@localhost test]-sharp ps aux | grep 2404
root 2404 97.9 0.0 157896 368? R 2018 120320 parted 35 parted / dev/sdb

the operations related to parted only remember that 200 gigabytes were allocated from the mounted hard disk because / dev/mapper/centos-root was not enough, but the parted problem was not noticed at that time.
does killing these two processes make a difference? If so, is there a safe way to stop them?
